Morning in San Jose
You can only see this view once a day. It's in east San Jose on the way up toward Joseph D. Grant County Park, one of my favorite places to hike. As the sun rises up over Mount Hamilton, light slowly spreads across the Valley of Heart's Delight. The misty marine layer slowly pulls back across the coast ranges, retreating back into the ocean for another day. This decrepit barn just sits there, overlooking the city, slowly rusting into the ground.
This watercolor painting is a miniature. It's 5 inches by 7 inches. It comes framed in an 8 inch by 11 inch frame.
