Lake Siskiyou
This was a good day of hiking. There's a wonderful seven mile trail that loops around Lake Siskiyou. It has consistently nice scenery of the campgrounds and the forests, and occasionally stunning views of the lake. I twisted my ankle in the first half mile, but I had just recently been laid off, and I was determined to complete the loop, even on a sore ankle. Unfortunately, that twisted ankle continued to bother me that week as we hiked on the Pacific Crest Trail, but that hike certainly inspired me to paint.
