I spend so much time at Joseph D. Grant County Park that it's easy for me to forget when and where I took a particular picture, but this day was different. I got to the park early, as usual. Mine was the only car in the parking lot at 7am. I hiked over to the Yerba Buena Trail to get up above the marine layer if I could, but when I got to the top of the hill I was still swimming through dense fog. I turned to start coming down the Los Huecos Trail and that's when I saw this rickety old fence framing a view of oak covered hills. The fog never burned off while I was there on that fall day.
